Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has increased oil supplies for the month of July from seven countries, including Iraq, according to the OPEC monthly report quoted by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Oil production from the 13 OPEC member states increased by 216,000 barrels per day during July, reaching 28.896 million barrels per day, supported by increased supplies from seven countries, including Iraq, says the press release.
The largest increases came from Saudi Arabia as its oil production increased by 158,000 barrels per day to a total of 10.714 million barrels per day, followed by the United Arab Emirates which saw an increase of 48,000 barrels per day, and from Kuwait. in third place, registering an increase of 47,000 barrels per day, according to the statement.
According to the OPEC report, Iraq increased its production by 30,000 barrels per day to reach 4.496 million barrels per day, indicating that the increase in Iraqi oil production increased by 447,000 barrels per day compared to at the same time in 2021.
The statement also revealed that Gabon increased its oil production to 14,000 barrels per day, Equatorial Guinea reached 13,000 barrels per day and Nigeria’s production reached 6,000 barrels per day.
