Crude oil futures fell slightly on Wednesday as International Energy estimates global demand is growing less than initially expected this year.

Global oil demand is expected to grow by 1.1 million barrels per day this year, down 140,000 bpd from last month’s forecast, as demand in developed economies slowed in the first quarter, according to an IEA report.
