The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys are set to square off on Thanksgiving Day in a key NFC East showdown. Afterwards, they will do it again, off the field, as each is set to meet star receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to NFL Media.

Beckham will visit the Cowboys on Monday, December 5 after Jay Glazer. As for the Giants, they still haven’t set a date yet. According to NFL Media, these are the only known visits scheduled for Beckham, but it’s entirely possible he could make other visits before signing with a team.

Beckham, 30 years old, visited the Giants facility early last month to check on former teammate Sterling Shepard after Shepard’s ACL tear, but haven’t met anyone in management. This time around, the visit is scheduled, and what seemed like an unlikely reunion with the franchise that selected him 12th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft is now a possibility.

OBJ is in the final stages of recovering from knee surgery after tearing his left ACL in the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI victory in February. He looks in great shape and looks set to give a team a boost in the stretch run, just like he did for Los Angeles last season when he was reportedly on the point of winning the Super Bowl MVP title before going down. with the injury.

The Cowboys have clarified they are interested in the wide receiver. Owner Jerry Jones loves collecting stars to wear “the star” on his helmet.

“He made the biggest catch I’ve seen, other than the one Dez (Bryant) made for the touchdown against Green Bay,” Jones told 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, via Sports Illustrated last month. “Bottom line, Odell is a player that I admire a lot.”

Jones has confirmed the report that Beckham and the Cowboys plan to meet soon.

“That’s my understanding too,” Jones told 103.5 The Fan on Sunday, through athletics.

Playing for the Cowboys is always tempting, but having the chance to write a new end to his career in New York must be tempting for Beckham, especially to play with a good friendSaquon Barkley, again.

Barkley was at Beckham’s 30th birthday earlier this month. The Giants’ star running back has a different way of luring his former teammate.

“I saw Micah (Parsons) tweet something to him. … Why wouldn’t you want him on your team,” Barkley said with a smile, via SNYTV. “There’s not really a sales pitch here. It’s New York. It’s the Giants. … I don’t need to tweet him. He knows how I feel. He knows how we feel in this locker room.”

It should be a very interesting week for these NFC East rivals on and off the court.
