The latest developments in the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua saga have left Mahmoud Charr in the cold – and he’s not happy.

The past few days have been rocky when it comes to negotiations for a potential Fury against Joshua “Battle of Britain”.

Fury gave Joshua more time to get this fight over the line, but who knows if the fight will continue

At first, negotiations seemed to be going quickly and smoothly, with Joshua accepting Fury’s terms for a 60/40 split in favor of ‘The Gypsy King’, with the fight set to take place on December 3.

Since then, however, contracts have been on hold with Joshua’s lawyers and Fury has grown impatient, setting a Monday deadline of 5pm for the contract to be signed or he would move on to replacement opponent Mahmoud Charr.

Fury reposted a video callout of Charr to his Instagram, along with the caption, “If he doesn’t sign today, you’re in a big G and you can show them how a real man throws himself!”

The deadline was coming and going and the contracts were still not signed, so Fury declared the fight with Joshua to be officially over.

That was until Thursday morning when Fury backtracked, saying he would allow more time and that everything had been agreed in terms of transparency and broadcasters.

Fury ended his message by saying, “Get this contract signed today, big p****. Let the UK fans have what they want. There’s no more umm. You gotta fight me, you can’t escape The Fury is coming… shit!

Tyson Fury promoter Frank Warren accuses Anthony Joshua’s camp of silence, but Eddie Hearn insists they’re trying to fight back and Gypsy King’s ‘baffling’ antics are the problem

This is exciting news for boxing fans, as it means there is still a silver lining for the biggest fight in British boxing history to continue.

That being said, one man who is clearly disappointed with Fury’s decision is his proposed replacement opponent, Charr.

“Fury, you’re the same s*** as Anthony Joshua,” Charr said on his Instagram.

“A man is a man, when you say Joshua is out, he is out. You tell everyone you want to fight me, now you’re like a duck, take the fight.

Charr accompanied this post with the caption, “Fury you canard my challenge you. AJ is scared and coming off two losses, why should he give him a chance?”
