Nothing Phone 1 Android 13 update beta expected soon
Nothing launched its first smartphone in the market earlier this year and now it is expected to get Androdi 13 update soon.
Nothing from Phone 1 is supposed to taste Android 13 next year, but a new teaser from founder Carl Pei seems to suggest otherwise. He shared a tweet with a screenshot with the Nothing Phone 1 running on Nothing OS version 1.5.0 which is likely to be built on the Android 13 operating system.
Pei has been asked many times when the Nothing Phone 1 will get Android 13, and some even inquired about the Android 13 beta timeline of the Nothing OS 1.5.0, and recently he replied to them saying that the rollout will be coming soon.
Nothing is one of the few brands whose phone does not work on Android version 13.
Most of the other brands have upgraded their devices and continue to offer their existing models as well. The likes of OnePlus, Samsung, Vivo and Oppo come to mind, while Xiaomi is still working behind the scenes on its MIUI version built on Android 13 which should be released soon.
The fact that Nothing is working hard to push the Android 13 beta for its device means that a stable update release in late 2022 or early 2023 can’t be ignored. Nothing Phone 1 was launched earlier this year and caught everyone’s attention with its unique transparent design and Glyph interface that interacts with LEDs. It was launched for Rs 32,999 but due to different reasons the company had to increase its price in the market.
Nothing is the first product in the market, Ear 1 headphones have completely sold out in India, according to its country manager recently, and it is suggested that Ear 1 has been discontinued in the country, giving buyers the opportunity to get the ear (stick) TWS headphones instead.
