Nordic stocks fell on Tuesday; Beijer Ref Series B Published… – Morningstar

Stocks in the Nordic region fell on Tuesday, with the OMX Nordic 40 index down 0.3%.

Beijer Ref AB Series B saw the biggest decline during the session, down 6.3%, followed by shares of Vimian Group AB, down 5.0%. TGS ASA shares fell 4.6%.

Billerud AB was the biggest leader, up 6.7%, and Bavarian Nordic A/S rose 6.6%. Skel Fjarfestingafelag hf. rounded out the top three leaders on Tuesday, with shares up 6.5%.

In Denmark, the OMX Copenhagen 20 index fell 0.6% and the OMX Helsinki 25 index, which tracks Finland’s most traded stocks, fell 0.3%.

Shares in Sweden’s OMX Stockholm 30 index fell 0.4%, while Norway’s Oslo Exchange Benchmark Index_GI rose 0.1%. Icelandic stocks declined, with the OMX Iceland All-Share PI Equity Index falling 0.3%.

Elsewhere in Europe, indices were mixed, with the STOXX Europe 600 index flat and the FTSE 100 index up 0.1% from the previous close.

Regarding commodities, Brent crude oil futures rose 0.5% and gold futures rose 0.1%. Bitcoin rose 2.1% to $27,323.

On the currency front, the WSJ Dollar Index remained stable at 99.32.

Against the euro, the Norwegian crown increased by 0.5%, the US dollar by 0.1%, the Danish crown remained stable, the Icelandic crown remained stable and the Swedish crown remained stable.

Against the US dollar, the Norwegian krone rose by 0.4%, the euro fell by 0.1%, the Danish krone fell by 0.1%, the Icelandic krona fell by 0.1% and the Swedish krona fell by 0.1%.
