On Saturday March 18, Trump claimed on his Truth Social page that he would be arrested on Tuesday.
In an inflammatory post in all caps, Trump took aim at a “corrupt and highly political Manhattan District Attorney’s Office,” and called for protests to “take back our nation.”
Charges are expected to be brought against Trump for a silent payment made to adult film actor Stormy Daniels before he was elected to office in 2016.
