Apple’s next product announcement event is scheduled to take place on March 23.

Apple was expected to host its next big event later this week, according to Apple leaker Jon Prosser. The product announcement, which could have included devices such as the smart tracking beacon, the AirPods 3 or one IPad Pro Update, would have taken place on Tuesday March 23. a new report casts doubt on this rumor, indicating instead an unveiling of the iPad in April.

Apple’s next-gen headphones are said to be more like AirPods Pro and come with spatial audio support and touch controls. On Monday, however, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the new AirPods might not be available until the third quarter of this year.

The company’s AirTags trackers are rumored to be announced in 2020, but have so far remained off the Apple event table. Last fall, Apple unveiled a new range of Macs powered by its own internal M1 chips, the iPhone 12 range, the Apple watch 6 and many new iPad.
