The January winter transfer window may be closed, but that doesn’t mean players can’t join new clubs.
Teams can tap into the free market, while a host of countries are still able to register new signings with their window still closed.

Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo could be away this month
Turkey’s deadline is Wednesday, while Brazil and US Major League Soccer clubs can bring in players until April.
Nottingham Forest have already been active despite the market being closed until the summer after nabbing Andre Ayew on a free transfer.
And the Ghanaian may not be the only player on a Bosman this month at a Premier League side.
As he arrives in England, there could be two high-profile departures to Turkey.
A former Arsenal striker could also end up in America after reports he held talks with MLS Cup holders Los Angeles FC.
Here, talkSPORT brings you some of the potential deals that could be in sight.

Nicolas Zaniolo
The 23-year-old has long been linked with a Roma switch, with Tottenham, Bournemouth and AC Milan are all interested in the Italy international in January.
But a move never happened for the attacking midfielder, who can also function as a striker, leaving him in the lurch.
While Zaniolo has made it clear he is unwilling to extend his stay at the Stadio Olimpico, Roma have been keen to take advantage of him.
And although it looks like he will stay in Roma until the summer, Super Lig leaders Galatasaray have now reached an agreement to secure his services.

Zaniolo has been linked with a move to Tottenham in recent windows
italian journalist fabrice romano said Galatasaray would pay an initial fee of £17.8million for Zaniolo in a deal until 2027, with the player having a £31million release clause.
It is understood that Zaniolo traveled to Istanbul to sign his contract before Wednesday’s deadline.
Philippe Coutinho
The Aston Villa playmaker is another who could be on the move to Turkey to join Galatasaray.
Coutinho has struggled for form since the Villans turned his temporary stay at Barcelona last summer into a permanent one.
He is yet to register a goal or assist in his 20 appearances for the Midlands side in all competitions this term.
And Goal said Brazilian side Corinthians were ready to bring him back to his homeland, with his agent Kia Joorabchian confirming it was a possibility.
He said, “We will see! There is still a long way to go in the Brazilian market. Let’s see what happens.”

jesse lingard
Yet another player linked with a move to Turkey, the former Manchester United striker has struggled since his relationship with Forest.
He has only signed a one-year contract at the City Ground and is without a goal or an assist in his 14 top-flight outings.
Lingard has played just one minute of Forest’s last five games after falling out of favor under Steve Cooper.
According to TEAMtalk, Fenerbahce and Besiktas are considering a move for the England international.
It has been said that the teams are ready to test Forest’s resolve towards the player as the pair look to close the gap to league leaders Galatasaray.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The Chelsea striker’s days at Stamford Bridge appear to be numbered after dropping down the pecking order under Graham Potter.
Since joining Barca last summer, the former Gunners skipper hasn’t scored since his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace in October.
Aubameyang’s last start for the Blues in the top flight came in the 1-0 loss to his former employers in west London on November 6.
The 33-year-old has been said to have held talks with LAFC over a possible transfer as the MLS champions look to replace Gareth Bale after his retirement.
And with Aubameyang barely sniffled under Potter, coupled with the club signing a handful of new forwards in January, Chelsea could be ready to let him go.

isco
The Spanish midfielder has been without a club since his contract was terminated by Sevilla in December after just 12 La Liga games.
Isco was due to join German side Union Berlin last month, although a decision fell through at the last minute.
Turkish club Konyaspor seemed close to landing him then, but that avenue was closed after opting to bring in someone else instead.
Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo have claimed Sean Dyche’s Everton are an interested party in their fight to avoid relegation.
But they say Isco would rather join an MLS team than move to Merseyside, with several clubs unnamed for him.

Danny Rose
The former Tottenham and Watford left-back has been a free agent since being released by the Hornets in September.
Rose had signed a two-year contract at Vicarage Road but was let go a year earlier after the defender asked to leave.
Football League World have said the 32-year-old could be an option for promotion West Brom to provide competition for Conor Townsend.
