On Tuesday, Petty was ordered by a judge to settle his lawsuit against Hough, saying the case was going to mediation so the two teams could reach a settlement in the lawsuit.
According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the court noted, “The matter is referred to mediation annexed to the Court. The parties must select a mediator before 12/20/2022 and complete the mediation before 03/06/2023. The parties can participate in the mediation remotely.
He continued: “The parties are to file a joint status report two weeks after the mediation ends, but no later than 03/20/2023, whichever is earlier.”
Now that these two parties will meet for mediation, the only question left to answer is whether they will eventually come to a settlement that both parties will agree to.
Hough went public with his legal issues with Minaj and Petty. In a September 2021 interview with The truthshe recounted the horrific day in 1994 when she was allegedly raped by Petty when they were both 16 and why she decided to come forward about the alleged crimes against her years later.
