Nick Knowles has spoken out and hit back at criticism of his relationship with young girlfriend Katie Dadzie, 32.
The TV star, 60, spoke to The Sun last week as he and the sex toy business owner performed at the Inspiration Awards in London.
He told the publication that he recently spoke out against online trolls, saying: “I’m protecting Katie, because people make assumptions about her without knowing anything about her, that’s why I spoke up. “

“Normally I never comment on trolls, but on one occasion when people were a little judgmental I was angry on Katie’s behalf.”
He added: “I get upset when they come looking for people I care about.”
Despite the criticism, the couple looked happier than ever at the awards show, coming together on the red carpet.

The couple have just returned from a lavish trip to sunny Dubai, with Nick saying it was “lovely”.
Nick previously told The Sun he was being trolled, saying: “I choose to be on TV”. So, I expect all nine yards. I am up there as an object. I chose to be on TV, but my kids, or my family, or the people I go out with, to them, I think it’s unfair to pick on them.
Earlier last year, Nick took to Twitter to point out to his critics that Katie was “richer and more successful” than him.

He wrote: “I am furious. The woman I was having dinner with when we were chatting is 32 years old, has a degree in two subjects, runs 3 companies.
“She is richer and more successful than me and is smart and independent, unlike the abusive trolls who attack her.” ‘What happened to #bekind?’
Katie runs two businesses, one called Boa Boa which sells lingerie and sex toys, and the other called Boobbix which sells “lactation products for breastfeeding mums”.
Nick, who split from wife Jessica Rose Moor in 2016, made his first appearance with girlfriend Katie in September 2021, after ending his romance with PR guru Emily Hallinan, 27, in February 2020.
Nick and Katie made their public debut as a couple at a restaurant in Bath in 2021 after being friends for several years.
