Recognizing the upcoming one-year anniversary since Broadway theaters were forced to close, Nick Jonas paid tribute to the performing arts industry by hosting Saturday Night Live.
The chart-topping singer made his SNL debut on February 27, winking at Wretched days with a parodized version of “Drink With Me”. He was joined by the cast of SNL, including Kenan Thompson and Kate McKinnon.
Prior to success as a third-party pop group, The Jonas Brothers, Nick Jonas made his theater debut at an early age, playing Gavroche in Wretched and Chip in The beauty and the Beast. As an adult he played J. Pierrepont Finch in How to be successful in business without really trying and Marius in an anniversary concert in London at Les Misérables.
As previously announced, Jonas is set to play Frankie Valli in a new filmed production of Jersey boys, with dates to be confirmed.
