The NFL and ROC Nation are reportedly in talks with Rihanna about headlining the Super Bowl halftime show at the end of this football season.
This news came after TMZ previously reported that Taylor Swift had declined to perform at the big event in Arizona. Swift reportedly wouldn’t perform until she finished re-recording all of her first 6 albums.
Sources told TMZ that there have been multiple discussions about Rihanna, 34, headlining the 2023 Super Bowl.

Rihanna has never performed the Super Bowl halftime show, despite being asked to do so in 2019.
Rihanna hasn’t released new music in over 6 years, with her last album being released in 2016.
Super Bowl LVII will be played on February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Last year’s Super Bowl halftime show received largely positive reviews. Performers included Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent.
