There have been a dozen games in the first two weeks of the 2022 NFL schedule that have been decided by three runs or less. Las Vegas expects that total to only increase as there are eight Caesars Sportsbook games that have NFL Week 3 spreads of three points or less. The slimmest NFL odds belong to the 49ers against the Broncos, who have the Niners as 1.5-point favorites in the latest Week 3 NFL Vegas odds. That game started with Denver as the 3-point favorite, not moving in favor of the Niners once Trey Lance (ankle) was ruled out for the season with Jimmy Garoppolo replacing him at quarterback. All of the NFL Week 3 lines are listed below, and SportsLine’s advanced computer model has all the NFL betting tips and predictions you need to make the best NFL Week 3 picks right now.
The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, has grown more than $7,000 for players to $100 on top NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 139-102 run on NFL’s top picks that dates back to the 2017 season.
The model has also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the last six years on NFL direct picks and has beaten more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that time. Anyone who followed him is upstairs.
Now, he’s turned his attention to Caesars’ latest Week 3 NFL odds and locked in picks for every NFL game. Head here to see each choice.
Top NFL Week 3 Predictions
One of the model’s top Week 3 NFL picks is for the Bengals (-4.5) to go on the road and cover against the Jets. Only six teams had fewer sacks than the Jets last year, and they have the same statistical ranking in sacks this year. A lack of pressure on Joe Burrow should allow him to separate the secondary from the Jets as New York gives opposing quarterbacks a passer rating of over 100 this season. Burrow is expected to exceed 300 passing yards and throw multiple touchdowns as well, with Ja’Marr Chase having nearly 100 receiving yards.
The model does not expect a Jets player to exceed 60 receiving yards. In fact, New York is down two points, with the Bengals (-4.5) covering almost 60% of the time.
Another of the model’s Week 3 NFL predictions: the Seahawks (-2) cover the spread at home against the Falcons. Geno Smith may not be the long-term answer to QB for the Seahawks, but he is the short-term solution. He’s gone an incredible 9-1 ATS in his last 10 starts, with a 13:2 touchdown to interception ratio over that span. His 81% completion percentage leads the NFL this season and is nearly 20 points better than Marcus Mariota.
The model has Smith playing a more efficient game than Mariota and the Seahawks putting over 130 yards on the ground averaging over five yards per carry. With that, Seattle should cover as a 2-point favorite in well over 50% of simulations, with the most (42) hitting over 50% of the time. See which other teams to pick here.
