New Zealand authorities upped the ante on Sunday as they attempted to disperse protesters from outside the country’s parliament.
After Barry Manilow’s greatest hits on loop failed to unseat the anti-vaccine mandate protest, which has been out for nearly a week, they’ve turned to a song that strikes fear into the heart of parents everywhere: Baby Shark (Doo Doo Doo).
They even joined James Blunt’s 2005 hit You’re Beautiful.
The British singer cheekily tweeted New Zealand police on Saturday about the Manilow plan: “Call me if it doesn’t work.”
On Monday, however, protesters were not moved, with hundreds still remaining outside parliament.
