The best in fashion will be heading to Dubai next week to mark Arab Fashion Week, organized by the Arab Fashion Council in collaboration with Dubai Design District (d3).
As part of the lineup, couture brand Amato by Furne One will open the week on October 11 and showcase their latest collection with the new Miss Universe Bahrain opening the show.
Last month, 24-year-old model and pianist Evlin Abdullah-Khalifa was crowned Bahrain’s second Miss Universe and will go on to represent the country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant, where the eventual winner will most likely be crowned in 2023.
However, until the international competition, she turns to fashion, which she is “delighted” to do.
“It has always been my dream to walk the runway at Arab Fashion Week and now that dream will finally come to life,” she said in a statement about walking the runway with Amato. “It’s all the more special that I will be walking for world-renowned fashion designer to royalties and stars, Furne Amato of Amato Couture.”
Khalifa then discussed her time with Miss Universe so far, which she described as “incredible”.
“This entire Miss Universe journey has been amazing so far and I look forward to seeing you all as we prepare to represent the Gulf Region on the Miss Universe World Stage,” she said.
