Netflix has unveiled a spooky new clip from Season 4 of “Stranger Things”.
During Tudum, a global fan event, the streaming giant released a short clip of the long-awaited season of the hit series. “Stranger Things” is slated for release in 2022 after being delayed by COVID-19.
The 90-second spoofy teaser opens with a throwback to the 1950s, where a family of four moves to a pristine blue Creole house in a vintage car. The clips then show a series of increasingly disturbing scenes before moving on to the present of the series, showing the familiar gang breaking into a house in search of something mystical.
The clip then ends on a disturbing note, with the shattering of a piece of glass.

“The world is full of obvious things, which no one by chance ever observes,” Gaten Matarazzo character Dustin Henderson tells friends in the clip.
“Sherlock Holmes,” he said after an awkward pause.

The new season will air nearly two years after Season 3, which aired in July 2019.
Season 4 of “Stranger Things” will see audience favorite Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, and Jim Hopper (David Harbor) will also be back with Dr. Martin Brenner.

Netflix has also added a new lineup of cast for its next season and revealed the new recurring cast. Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco and Joseph Quinn, who will join the cast as series regulars. Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Robert Englund, Nikola Djuricko and Tom Wlaschiha join in recurring roles.
