The NBA docked the 2023 and 2024 Philadelphia 76ers second-round picks for tampering violations. The the league announced the decision on Monday.
According to the league, the 76ers violated league rules by negotiating with Danuel House Jr. and PJ Tucker before opening free agency last offseason. Tucker and House signed with the 76ers as free agents. They both played with 76ers guard James Harden when he was league MVP with the Houston Rockets. They had also established a relationship with 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey while he was general manager of Houston.
