While some look to the Tokyo Olympics for sports, others go online for all the fashion looks on offer.
Despite most of the early morning events happening in the United States, Americans hoping to catch up on what they missed out on during the Olympics don’t have to worry thanks to NBC’s prime-time coverage. . It’s all thanks to some of the network’s best (and best dressed) broadcasters and analysts keeping us in the loop.
With all eyes on the women’s gymnastics team – led by Simone Biles – former US team member and US Olympic Hall of Fame member Nastia Liukin, 31, is on hand to cover the team.
While the 2008 all-around champion and former Dancing with the stars A competitor not taking part in the games this time around, the “Fashion Queen” is still sending social media users into a frenzy with her unique and daring outfits featured on national television.
“The fashion queen is here,” the official Olympics Twitter account said on July 19. “Who’s up for @NastiaLiukin’s looks during #TokyoOlympics?” In the photo, Liukin looks relaxed and comfortable yet stylish in a lavender ensemble.
Liukin has been in Tokyo for a week and has already showcased many bold and vibrant outfits – from pink jumpsuits to purple bell-bottomed pants – during her time at the games on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.
With gymnastics events scheduled until August 3, viewers can only expect to see more incredible adjustments.
Many Twitter users took to social media to show their love for Liukin’s fashion looks as the former gymnast uses the Olympics as her runway.
Even with all the love, not everyone felt Liukin’s look as some people questioned her stylist’s fashion choices.
Despite the mixed reviews, it’s safe to say that we can expect Liukin to give us more fashion inspiration in the coming days.
