Nadia Bartel had a hell of a day on Thursday after suffering a severe allergic reaction to a laser facial treatment meant to smooth her skin.
The 37-year-old former WAG, known for her flawless skin, suffered a setback after going ‘really strong’ on the Picosure laser treatment for ‘maximum results’.
Now footage has emerged of her walking the streets of Melbourne, looking gloomy moments before entering the beauty clinic.

Bartel appeared to be her best advertisement as she stepped out in beige pants, a white crop top and a loose white shirt from her own fashion label Henne.
The brunette beauty accessorized just a pair of chunky, comfy brown sandals as she spent most of the time checking messages on her mobile phone.
Posting a number of stories to her Instagram later that day, the mother-of-two documented her shocking facial reaction.

She said she had had laser treatment before, but was particularly tough this time to get ‘maximum results’, which left her in ‘bloody pain’.
Nonetheless, she was adamant that the results were worth it, as she showed her skin was visibly red and bumpy after the procedure.
“It hurts so much (as we went really hard for maximum results) but I had this a year ago and the results are worth it,” Bartel wrote on his story alongside a video of she doing the treatment.

During the operation, we hear him say to his beautician: “I am shaking with pain. I’m not going to lie and say it wasn’t painful. It was super painful.
The therapist then explained that Bartel had had an allergic reaction to the laser, but there was nothing to worry about.
“It’s really normal to get a histamine response. His is particularly strong. You can see it’s already lumpy and bumpy, so we’ll have to put him on antihistamines. It’s going to be a really long week,” she said in the video.

Showing her face to her followers as she sat in the car after the procedure, Bartel said: “It’s my skin after the pico laser. It looks hectic, I can admit, and it was damn painful.
“But the results are crazy and we did better than last time. So I’ll keep you posted.
Picosure is a non-surgical laser skin treatment that can be used to treat the majority of common skin blemishes, including spots caused by sun damage and acne scars.

The fashion designer said the Picosure laser treatment she had done to her face was “bloody” but she thinks the results are worth it.

Nadia said she decided to have the procedure to treat her skin pigmentation and also to increase collagen production.
