Apple TV+ has revealed the premiere dates for its fall lineup. Return dates for Mythic Quest, Mosquito Coast, Slow Horses, and Little America have been announced.
Apple TV+ revealed more about the return of their programming in a press release.
“Apple TV+ today revealed premiere dates for the highly anticipated hit series set to return with new seasons this fall, beginning with ‘The Mosquito Coast’ continuing its high-stakes journey in season two on 4. November; acclaimed workplace comedy “Mythic Quest” returning for season three on November 11; widely acclaimed spy drama “Slow Horses” season two premiering on December 2; and, the anthology “Little America” , Independent Spirit Award nominee, returns with eight heartfelt new episodes on December 9.
The new seasons will premiere alongside a growing list of series and movies from today’s greatest storytellers that will also debut this fall on Apple TV+, including Peter Farrelly’s latest film “The Greatest Beer Run Ever” starring Zac Efron and which will make its worldwide debut on Apple TV+ this Friday September. 30; “Shantaram,” the new Apple Original starring Charlie Hunnam and based on the internationally bestselling novel by Gregory David Roberts, premiering October 14; “Causeway,” the acclaimed new Apple Original movie starring and produced by Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, premieres in theaters and on Apple TV+ on November 4; and “Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me,” the new feature-length documentary about singer, songwriter, actress, producer, entrepreneur and activist Selena Gomez which will also debut November 4 on Apple TV+.

THE MOSQUITO COAST
Season two premieres friday november 4
Based on the best-selling novel by Paul Theroux and starring Justin Theroux, Melissa George, Logan Polish and Gabriel Bateman, “The Mosquito Coast” follows the dangerous journey of Allie Fox, a brilliant inventor and dogged idealist, who uproots his family on a dangerous quest to find refuge from the US government, cartels and hitmen. In season two, after barely escaping Mexico with their lives, the foxes venture deep into the Guatemalan jungle to reunite with an old friend and her refugee community. This new haven creates problems for the Foxes when they become entangled in a dispute between the descendants of a local drug lord. At odds over whether to settle down or keep moving, Allie and Margot follow different paths to secure their family’s future. The result will either unite the family or tear it apart forever.
The second season of “The Mosquito Coast” is produced by Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer, Stefan Schwartz, Evan Katz, Rupert Wyatt, author Paul Theroux and series star Justin Theroux. Alan Gasmer, Peter Jaysen and Bob Bookman are executive producers for Veritas Entertainment Group. The series is created for television and produced by Neil Cross. Developed by Neil Cross and Tom Bissell, “The Mosquito Coast” is a Fremantle production for Apple TV+.
The second season of “The Mosquito Coast” will air with the first episode, followed by a new weekly episode until January 6, 2023.
MYTHICAL QUEST
Season three premieres friday november 11
Returning for its highly anticipated 10-episode third season this fall, “Mythic Quest” is the workplace comedy from creators Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz that follows a group of video game developers tasked with building worlds, to mold heroes and create legends, but the fiercest battles don’t happen in the game – they take place in the office.
In season three, as Ian and Poppy navigate the gaming world and their partnership at the new GrimPop studios, Dana is forced to mediate in her bosses’ endless bickering. Back in Mythic Quest, David settles into his new role as boss where he finds himself truly in charge for the first time with Jo back as his assistant – more loyal and militant than ever; and Carol tries to figure out where she fits in after being promoted again. In Berkeley, Rachel struggles to balance her morals with capitalism, while a post-prison Brad tries to return to society as a reformed man.
“Mythic Quest” is produced by McElhenney and Day under their RCG banner, Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel on behalf of 3Arts, and Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik and Gérard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film and Television. Hornsby and Ganz also serve as executive producers. The series is produced for Apple TV+ by Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment and Ubisoft.
The third season of “Mythic Quest” will air with the first two episodes on Friday, November 11, followed by a new weekly episode until January 6, 2023.
SLOW HORSES
Season two premieres Friday, December 2
Starring Oscar winner Gary Oldman, the second season of “Slow Horses” is directed by Jeremy Lovering and uncovers long-buried Cold War secrets that threaten to wreak havoc on the streets of London. When an affair with Russian villains takes a fatal turn, our hapless heroes must overcome their individual failures and raise their spy game in a race to avert a catastrophic incident.
“Slow Horses” is a darkly humorous spy drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence operatives who serve at an MI5 dump known as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they often find themselves wandering around the smoke and mirrors of the world of spying. The ensemble cast includes Oscar nominee Kristin Scott Thomas, BAFTA Scotland Award winner Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and the Oscar nominee. Jonathan Price.
The series is produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films and adapted for television by Will Smith (“Veep”). Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Will Smith, Jane Robertson and Graham Yost serve as the series’ executive producers. Saul Metzstein is set to direct the third season.
The second season will premiere with two episodes followed by one new episode per week, every Friday until December 30.
LITTLE AMERICA
Season two premieres Friday, December 9
Inspired by the true stories featured in Vox Media Studios’ Epic magazine, “Little America” is a BAFTA, Independent Spirit, NAACP Image and GLAAD Media Award nominated series that goes beyond headlines to look at the funny, romantic , heartfelt, inspiring and surprising stories of immigrants to America, when they are more relevant than ever.
Hailing from Emmy-nominated executive producers Lee Eisenberg, Oscar nominees Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, Academy Award winner Siân Heder, Emmy winner Alan Yang, and Epic Magazine, the series’ second season will explore eight incredible stories inspired by real people around the world, including a Belizean woman (Stacy Rose) who works for a Hasidic family in New York, a Korean man (Ki Hong Lee) who makes hats for the black church in 1980s Detroit, and the story of a 40-something Japanese girl in Columbus, Ohio (Shiori Ideta) whose dream is to create an all-women’s baseball league to fulfill her lifelong passion for the sport.
“Little America” is written and executive produced by Lee Eisenberg (“WeCrashed,” “The Office,” “Good Boys”), who serves as showrunner, and executive produced by Kumail Nanjiani (“The Big Sick,” “Silicon Valley” ), Emily V. Gordon (“The Big Sick”), Alan Yang (“Master of None”, “Parks and Recreation”), Siân Heder (“CODA”, “Tallulah”, “Orange Is the New Black”), Joshuah Bearman (“Argo”), Joshua Davis (“Spare Parts”) and Arthur Spector (“Breaking”) from Epic Magazine. Heder is also a co-showrunner alongside Eisenberg. The series is produced for Apple TV+ by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
