“You can see the magic of people falling in love. It’s so extraordinary,” she said.
Kate revealed that a week into filming she was shocked to see the experiment become a success.
“At some point, like a week into filming, I called my husband and said, ‘Oh my god honey, it’s working,'” she recalled.

Instead of featuring young people in their 20s who hook up, My Mum Your Dad follows single parents in their 40s and 50s who receive help from their adult children to find love.
Earlier this month Tess, 26, was mortified after her father Darren, 56, made a crude confession about her sex life on the show.
Tess, along with the rest of the children, were watching their parents mingle via a monitor when Darren told one of the other mums that he was looking for a woman he could put “on the kitchen bench”.

“Dad doesn’t have a filter,” Tess explained to the other children. “He shares too much, too.”
She then told producers, “This is going to be incredibly awkward.” There are a lot of things I don’t want to know about dad.
Darren then told one of the other mothers that he “needed that feeling on the kitchen bench”.
‘I need this, you’re having sex on the couch. This kind of things. I need this passion.
An embarrassed Tess then told producers, “Oh my god, please stop.” I can’t.’
