My message to an android never gets there but they do it to his iPad as an iMessage – MacRumors

A friend of mine has a Samsung Android phone which she says is up to date in its operating system. I have an iPhone with the current 15.5. It also has an iPad version 6 with the current iOS 15.5. What happens is that when I text her to her number, she never receives the message (SMS) but does on her iPad. She even noted that sometimes since my wife’s current iPhone IOS the same thing happens. We know it worked before when she received the text on her phone and in fact we have a mutual friend who often texts her and she texts. We have turned off and on all the devices but the problem persists.
