Chandigarh, February 7
The MC plans to introduce municipal bonds to raise funds in the market for its ambitious projects in the next fiscal year.
“We plan to introduce municipal bonds by seeking technical assistance from the Department of Treasury, International Affairs, United States. Through this, we will be able to raise funds from the market to fund our ambitious projects where huge down payment is needed for the welfare of our residents,” Mayor Anup Gupta said during his speech at the Bedroom. Some of the companies in the country have followed this practice. —TNS
