The Motorola Moto G 5G is a mid-range smartphone released last November. Powered by the Snapdragon 750 5G, it is one of the early adopters of 5G technology.
A few months ago, we reported that the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus received the Android 11 update. Since then, Moto G 5G users have been eagerly waiting for their device to receive the update.
Now it looks like the Motorola Moto G 5G is finally getting the Android 11 treatment.
The information comes from a Telegram group called “Moto updates Tracker” which posted the updated version with the download link in the group.

The Motorola Moto G 5G goes by the code name Kievv, which corresponds to the description as well as the model number of the phone. Said update is version RRV31.Q2-36-14-14.
Motorola Moto G 5G Android 11 update will bring several new features that Android 11 offers and may also include some as part of the good performance improvements.
We hope Motorola will bring some goodies like Moto Audio and Moto Gametime.
Judging by the name of the operator, it looks like the update is available in the US. However, it’s still unclear if the update is also available for other regions.
So far, we haven’t come across any reports of users claiming to have received the update. Therefore, it is highly likely that the update will be deployed in small batches.

Update 1 (July 16)
It looks like Motorola has also started rolling out the Android 11 update for the Moto One Fusion. The update is currently for handsets sold in Brazil and is expected to slowly spread to other regions as well.
The new update carries software version RPL31.Q2-63-10-2 and carries the June security patch. One user even took to Twitter to share a screenshot of the update:
