Mollie King shared an adorable snap with her newborn daughter Annabella on Instagram on Sunday after announcing the death of her father Stephen last week.
The former Saturdays singer, 35, was ‘heartbroken beyond words’ after her father died just days after welcoming her first baby.
Mollie revealed that she and her fiancé, professional cricketer Stuart Broad, 36, decided to give Annabella the middle name Hope as the newborn baby “brighten up our lives”.

In the soft snap, the radio presenter couldn’t contain her smile as she held the newborn baby aloft as she sat in her living room.
She donned a pair of comfy gray tracksuit bottoms and a chic fitted matching t-shirt as she let her long blonde tresses fall down her back.
Along with the snap she wrote: ‘Annabella has given us a lot of hope over these last tough months so Hope must have been one of her middle names.
“She has been our sunshine and I know she will continue to light up our lives.”

Alongside a photo of the pair, she wrote: ‘Thank you so much for all your kind messages about my dad’s passing. It is really comforting to read them. I can’t begin to tell you how much it means that you took the time to contact us.
“As I’m sure you can imagine, it’s an incredibly sad time and we’re doing our best to pull together as a family to get through this time.
“To anyone who has lost a parent, I send you so much love. It’s a feeling unlike anything I’ve ever felt. I hope your loved ones have helped you find strength.
Last week, Mollie took to Instagram to tell her fans the sad news that her relative passed away on Thursday.
Sharing a heartfelt post, she wrote, “Heartbroken beyond words. In August, my family’s world was turned upside down when my father was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Last week we faced the day we hoped would never come to say goodbye.

“Dad, we love you with all of our hearts and will miss you every day. You were our hero and it is impossible to think of our lives without you.

It comes just days after Mollie announced last week that she had welcomed her first child into the world.

Posting a photo of her kissing her daughter on the head, Mollie wrote: “Welcome to the Annabella Broad world.” We have never been so in love.
Mollie revealed she was expecting in June and shared last month that their baby was due November 2.
She told Grazia, “It feels weird to say that because we just told the family, but we’re having a baby girl!”

“Having five nephews, we were convinced we were also going to have a baby boy, but we are delighted to find out it is a baby girl.
“We would have been happy either way obviously and I just want her to grow up knowing she can be exactly who she wants to be.” I want her to know that the things she dreams about in bed can come true.
The star also took to Instagram at the time to share some heartwarming footage of when she and Stuart learned they had a daughter.
Mollie uploaded the clip of herself in a figure-hugging powder blue dress as she stood with her husband-to-be on either side of a large black balloon. As they popped the “Boy Or Girl” balloon, pink confetti rained down on them.

Mollie and Stuart first met through mutual friends in 2012, but didn’t meet until March 2018.
The couple briefly split five months later, but were spotted together again in February 2019 and confirmed they got back together the following month.
Mollie announced that Stuart proposed on a romantic stroll through Richmond Park on New Years Day in 2021.
Revealing the happy news on Instagram, Mollie wrote: “A thousand times yes!” I still can’t believe it, the most magical start to the new year! I can’t wait to spend all my years with you!’
