Model Miranda Kerr, 39, reveals the unusual way she copes with jet lag and “rebalances” herself after a long flight
Model Miranda Kerr has revealed she walks barefoot on the grass to help “reconnect” after a long flight.
The track star, 39, spoke to Porter about the ritual which she says is “rebalancing” herself.
“I like to go for a walk outside when I arrive and, if possible, go barefoot on the grass to reconnect, ground myself and have some time to rebalance myself,” she said.

Miranda added that she also takes melatonin to help her sleep with jet lag.
The Australian model, who is married to Snapchat billionaire Evan Spiegel, went on to say how important slowing down is for family life.

“As a mother of three boys, life goes by so fast. Enjoy your time together while you can because life is busy,” she said.
“I think it’s important for our kids to see how important the work ethic is, but it’s just as important for them to see how much we value quality family time.”
Miranda and Evan share two sons together, four-year-old Hart and two-year-old Myles. Miranda also has a third son, Flynn, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.

In the August issue of Vogue Australia, she discussed co-parenting Flynn with British actor Orlando, 45, and his American pop star fiancee, Katy Perry, 37.
“Co-parenting with Orlando and Katy is something that I feel really happy about,” Miranda said.
“From day one, when Orlando and I decided to go our separate ways, I said, ‘Look, whatever we do, we have to put Flynn’s needs first, not ours.

“That’s how we make our decisions. Family is my number one priority, then work, then my business, which is like another baby, and then, unfortunately, my friends, but it won’t be like that forever.
Miranda previously told LuisaViaRoma’s LVR magazine that she only had nice things to say about her ex and her new love interest.
“I love Katy and I’m grateful Orlando has found someone he’s happy with. Now Flynn has four happy parents who get along,” she said.
