A change of outfit at the same event is not uncommon for an artist like Miley Cyrus. But when the “Wrecking Ball” singer makes one, it’s always a statement.
The most recent example of this took place on Monday, May 16, when Cyrus was in New York for the 2022 NBC Upfronts. The singer appeared in two different dresses that perfectly matched the rocker-glam aesthetic she recently adopted.
Giving us the best of both worlds, Cyrus showed us how to rock star style in both casual and dressy shapes. We can consider either working for a date, depending on your plans. She appeared at Radio City Music Hall in a tight, waffle-knit little black dress. Before leaving the room, she changed to a red off-the-shoulder style with matching red metallic strappy heels. The satin dress featured a one-sided cold shoulder moment with two high leg slits, reflecting the red dancing emoji in all its glory.
Staying true to ’80s glamor in both looks, Cyrus styled her blonde and black hair into a side part with a few pieces blocking out her large-rimmed sunglasses. For hardware, the singer kept it very minimal with a thin diamond tennis necklace and gold mini hoops. Over the red dress, Cyrus added a Dior silver chain belt that hung around her waist.
