In March, Miley and her crew were traveling to a show in South America when their plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
Miley recently opened up about the details of the accident, explaining that she had a bad feeling about the day from the very beginning.
“It was really, really weird because the weather was unexpected, and a few things that day — when I woke up that morning, I said, ‘Something was terribly wrong and not quite,'” Miley said on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Then, once the group took off, the weather suddenly changed and the plane was struck by lightning while caught in the storm.

Miley says the whole thing was “really scary” and she was crying “in [her] mom’s knees” because she was pretty sure that “it didn’t matter about the seat belts at this point”.

Fortunately, the plane was able to make a safe emergency landing, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t all traumatic – and that didn’t stop the show from being flooded and canceled.
“My guys in my band, who are just rock ‘n’ rollers, say, ‘We have to reach the fans! We still have to play the show!’ I’m like, “Okay, no. We are in the middle of the forest in a broken down plane. There’s flooding where we’re supposed to go. The scene flows,” Miley said.

With a show canceled and nowhere to go, Miley says Brazil was “great” and allowed her to enter the country days early before her performance at Lollapalooza.

“We were able to take a few days to recover because we were all a little traumatized,” Miley concluded.
It really looks like they all deserved some time off!
