After her iHeartRadio Music Festival cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” went viral last week, Miley Cyrus ditched it on streaming services.
This year’s iHeartRadio festival went virtually, with Cyrus joining BTS, Coldplay and Migos for the two-day event. Her cover of ‘Heart of Glass’ turned Blondie’s disco hit into a raspy, rockin’, Joan Jett-inspired rock & roll dream with Cyrus crowning a live band.
Following the release of his new single “Midnight Sky,” Cyrus took on a series of more contemporary classic rock and pop covers and made them his own. Sure Tonight’s show, she delivered a version of “Maneater” from Hall & Oates, and when she entered the BBC’s Live Lounge, Cyrus covered Billie Eilish’s latest single “My Future”.
