Miley Cyrus shot to fame after starring on Disney’s hit show “Hannah Montana” when she was 13.

On the show, Cyrus featured a fictionalized version of herself who is secretly a pop star and the show had guest appearances from Cyrus’ own father Billy Ray Cyrus and godmother Dolly Parton.

In recent years, Cyrus and Parton have recalled acting together on the show during interviews.

During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Cyrus was asked about her first performance with her godmother.

“I remember her coming to a table to read ‘Hannah Montana,'” Cyrus said. “I had, like, pimple cream all over my face and I was in my pajamas, and we all had our backpacks on, we were going to school, and she came in, wearing a bathrobe in pink silk! And her hair could barely fit through the door!” “

Cyrus added: “It was one of those proud moments when people started saying, ‘So you call her Aunt Dolly. Is that your real aunt? I’m like, ‘Yeah, she is!'”

Later that year, Parton told Vanity Fair that she felt like a “proud mom” while on the show. Parton said she was asked to star in “Hannah Montana” after Cyrus requested her.

“We worked so well together,” Parton said. “And because of her, I had a whole new following of people who turned to me. These young little kids who were her fans and the kids who were fans of the whole show and the other little artists on the show but here I am Miley’s fairy godmother.”
