And the singer, who underwent a double mastectomy and reconstruction 10 years ago due to an 85% risk of contracting breast cancer in her 30s due to the BRCA gene, admitted on Monday that she had lived a “roller coaster of emotions” over the past week. as she began the process of removing her implants.

She wrote on Instagram: “I am delighted to share a positive update on my reconstruction. As some know. It’s been 10 years since I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction because 85% of breast cancer cases occurred in my 30s due to the BRCA2 gene I carry.
“Last year, eagle-eyed readers noticed my breasts looked misshapen in a video posted to Instagram for a magazine shoot I appeared in, prompting me to see my GP.
“They confirmed that there was a serious risk that my breast implants had ruptured.

“In the meantime, I have started to do my own research on private specialists. A close friend of mine recommended @sculpt_mybody who I contacted just for peace of mind…
“Within days they had me come for a private ultrasound to Harley Street which confirmed my worst fears of implant rupture and therefore another operation.
“The last few weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions. But my anxiety and fears have been lifted thanks to the support of the girls at @sculpt_mybody.

“I will now be seeing one of Sculpt My Body’s specialists for consultation in Harley Street to discuss implant removal so I can finally start looking ahead.
“I can’t thank each and every one of these comments enough, for getting my attention to get this sorted.”

‘I’ll let you all know. And keep supporting our wonderful NHS, but at a time when they are under huge pressure I am happy to be one less person they have to worry about.
Michelle revealed in December that she was on a waiting list to see a specialist after her GP told her she might need another reconstructive surgery, which she admitted she ” was in no hurry to do”.
Looking at the situation positively, the star added that she is “facing this one sober” and will “come out of this even stronger” amid her recovery from alcohol addiction.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘So I wasn’t going to say anything but I got so many comments here and on @ok_mag Instagram and direct messages with people worried about my breast implants after seeing the video and photos these weeks @ok_mag…

She told The Sun: “I would always promise myself that this was the last time I was going to drink or use cocaine. But I would wake up with the fear of not being there and having to buy more vodka.
“I was manipulating friends into picking up the kids from school. I was selfish. I was exhausted.
“I didn’t want to lie, but I had to because I needed the booze. It was relentless.
She was told she would die if she did not deal with her problems, her liver being on the verge of cirrhosis by the time she entered rehab.
