What a UFC entry for Chandler
Hooker, who was beaten by Dustin Poirier in June, hit the bridge instantly and lay down on the floor before referee Marc Goddard put a stop to the proceedings.
‘Iron’ Chandler entered the fight as an underdog – not surprisingly considering he had never fought in the UFC Octagon before and faced one of the best of the round.
However, before the main event between Poirier and Conor McGregor, Chandler sent a statement to the rest of the lightweight division with a devastating knockout.
The American draped himself in his country’s flag after the win and jumped off the top of the cage before calling McGregor and Khabib.

Chandler celebrated his victory in spectacular fashion
“Conor McGregor; surprise, surprise, there is a new king in the lightweight division, ”he said.
“Dustin Poirier, your time has come and Khabib – if you ever see fit to honor us with being in the UFC Octagon in your quest for 30- you’ve got to beat someone.”
“Then beat me, if you can!” God bless you, see you at the top.

‘The Hangman’ was left cold on the deck
“Every road has led me to this, I pulled myself up by my boot straps, let’s get this title soon,” he added.
“I have to get something out of my chest, it’s the biggest moment of my professional life.
“Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Khabib Nurmagomedov have to fight this new guy.”
Chandler then walked past the media and yelled at the lightweight champion to come out of retirement, stating, “’Khabib, I’m coming for you!
