Men’s basketball: Ohio gets huge commitment from three-star guard Elijah Elliott – The Post

On Tuesday afternoon, three-star recruit Elijah Elliott announced via Instagram that he has committed to play basketball for Ohio.

Elliott, a 6-foot-4 guard from Kansas, was previously committed to Florida Atlantic and announced his decommitment on his X account, formerly known as Twitter, on April 3. The announcement came less than two weeks after the former Florida player. Atlantic head coach Dusty May announced he would be leaving to become the head coach at Michigan.

Elliott played his final season of high school basketball at Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas. At the end of his senior season, Elliott was ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the state of Kansas.

Elliott will join a 2024 freshman class for the Bobcats, teaming with fellow three-star Ayden Evans, who committed to Ohio in July 2023.
