Melissa McCarthy could be seen with a huge bandage on her neck in a video posted Wednesday for Meghan Markle’s 40th birthday.
The video comes after the actress, 50, shared a video about suffering terrifying spider bites while filming two projects in Australia this year.
Melissa’s video revealed the disturbing effects of a hunter spider bite, which left her itchy and uncomfortable – as she covered herself in towels to cool off.

It is not known if Melissa’s plaster-covered neck was due to another spider bite injury.
Melissa was featured in the Duchess of Sussex video which was launched as an initiative to get people to pledge 40 minutes of their time to help women get back to work.
The Duchess had asked 40 activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to participate by offering 40 minutes of mentoring to women re-entering the workforce.

In March, the actress revealed that she was bitten by a hunter spider on her journey down.
The Hollywood star shared a hilarious video on Instagram of herself lying in bed with bandages on both hands.

In the post, Melissa is first seen saying, “I love that all bugs and creatures kill you.”
She is then shown lying in a bed with bandages on both hands and a towel on her forehead.
“After professing my love for Australian creatures to InStyle magazine, someone quickly reminded me that I was conveniently forgetting the consequences of some of these ‘magical’ bites,” Melissa wrote.

The comedian has been in Australia since last year to film the upcoming Nine Perfect Strangers television series, based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty.
The $ 100 million production was filmed in Byron Bay and other parts of New South Wales.
The series will tell the story of nine stressed city dwellers who escape to a wellness retreat led by the character of Nicole Kidman.
Melissa and her husband Ben Falcone were also recently spotted on the set of Thor: Love and Thunder alongside. Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth.
