Mel C recently opened up about her expectations for the show during an interview with Access Hollywood, where she noted that she used to watch the UK version of the hit show.
“I’m a huge fan of the show and I’m not very familiar with Dancing With The Stars, of course being from the UK we watch Strictly,” she said.
She was then asked if the other Spice Girls would make an appearance during the season, and she said she would jump at the chance to watch them watch her play.
“It’s so bittersweet because I’m so excited to be on the show, but I can’t bring my mom over and I don’t know how easy it would be for girls to get here, but if we can do it safely, we will do our best, ”she said.

Mel C was then asked about her acrobatic stage moves and confessed that she might need a little professional help polishing up her higher-flying stunts.
She said: “There is an Olympic gymnast on the show; I’m not busting my bad backflip, my basic backflip … maybe I’ll get [Sunisa Lee] to give me some coaching so that I can improve myself.
The singer also noted that she has already established a relationship with her dance partner and pointed out that she faces stiff competition.
Professional help: During an interview with Access Hollywood, the hitmaker said she would ask Olympic gymnast Sunisa Lee to “give me some coaching” before the show’s premiere.
“I’m so happy with my dancer, he’s amazing – they’re all amazing – but yeah, I realized I had a lot of work to do,” she said.
Mel C went on to talk about the eye-catching outfits on the show and said she would be open to trying on the costumes in the future.
“I’m a little nervous, it’s going to take a while for me to get used to seeing myself like this, but… I’m thoroughly into it, I want the full experience,” she noted.
The 30th season of Dancing With The Stars originally aired on ABC in 2005, and since then has been one of its mainstays.
Tough competition: The singer also noted that she “realized I had a lot of hard work to do” after seeing the performances of the other cast members.
