Megan Fox has traded in her signature brunette, but not permanently. We finally get a glimpse of the platinum blonde look she sported in her new movie, Johnny and Clyde.
Redbox Entertainment debuted an image of Megan’s character in the film, which is a reimagined version of the notorious crime couple Bonnie and Clyde’s life.
The story follows the love-crazed serial killer duo played by Avan Jogia and Ajani Russell. Their ultimate goal is to rob a wealthy casino run by crime ringleader Alana (Fox) and her security chief Guy (Tyson Ritter).
Megan is no stranger to playing vicious roles – or wearing bright colors and bustiers – and it seems Alana fits that description.
In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, director Tom DeNucci said, “Megan Fox’s character is very dark. I don’t want to say too much, but visually we wanted her to look almost like a Disney princess, but a very dark, twisted, distorted version of that.
Although her hair looks like a princess with long curls, the rest of her look is another story. Emanating boss vibes, Megan is pictured reclining in a leather chair with her bright yellow stilettos resting on the desk. Her character is clearly in great taste, as the shoes contrast perfectly with the soft lilac bra and eggplant-colored pants.
Back in October, when Megan made her Instagram debut as a blonde, she teased that the silver locks were for this movie. Including a Johnny and Clyde hashtag, she captioned a photo of herself, “This is what the devil’s daughter looks like,” hinting at a possible nasty twist.
The action-packed movie Johnny and Clyde is set to hit theaters in late 2022 and be available on Redbox newsstands and on demand.
