What do you think will be the biggest challenge you will throw at your opponent this season?
The diversity. If I can’t beat you to my feet, I’ll knock you down. If I can’t take you down, I’ll beat you to my feet.
Is there a particular coach you hope to work with? What are you looking for in a coach?
I don’t see any downside to either one. You have Nunes, she is probably the most decorated female fighter. Then Peña, just a classy fighter, former Ultimate Fighter contestant. I can’t choose, honestly. Either will be a good choice.

Do you think it’s going to be difficult living in the same house with people you’re actively competing with?
I can see it’s a challenge, but I can also see it’s an advantage. You train with them, you begin to understand their tendencies. So I can see an advantage there.
Why do you think you’ll be the only one to win this season of The Ultimate Fighter?
I’m just hungry for it. This is my dream, this is what I want to do. This is where I start.
