What makes you a force to be reckoned with in the Octagon?
I’m definitely an enforcer in an octagon. I’m more than anyone can handle at this point in my career. So they try to figure out what it is. In any position you risk being knocked out or suffocated by me. I really emphasize my willpower, my height and weight class as well as my conditioning and technique. So all of those things come full circle for me because, hey, I’m just who I am. And that’s a lot to deal with.

Why do you think you will be a fan favorite this season?
I feel like a star who is already approaching the show. I feel like it’s already set in stone what’s happening, especially throughout my career. A lot of these guys have done some of the things I’ve done, and I’m not trying to shame anyone else’s game because, hey, I think there are other people too who have the potential to be the star, but they aren’t. I’m not going to win and that’s the most important thing.
What do you think of Valentina Shevchenko?
Team Shevchenko all the way, Team Shevchenko. If Alexa Grasso wants to pick me, hey, so be it, but I’m 100% Team Shevchenko. So if she hears me, she knows what’s going on.
