The Thunder hit the road to take on Dallas at 8:30 p.m. ET at the American Airlines Center. The Mavericks will strut after a win while Oklahoma City will stumble after a loss.
Oklahoma City was within reach but couldn’t close the gap last Saturday as they lost 107-102 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Shooter Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (21 points) was Oklahoma City’s top scorer.
Meanwhile, Dallas moved past the Orlando Magic with points to spare last Saturday, winning the game 108-92. Dallas point guard Jalen Brunson was one of the team’s most active players, collecting 19 points and five rebounds.
The Thunder are the clear underdogs, so they’re hoping the size of the fight will determine this one. However, those who like to bet on the underdog should be happy to learn that they are 24-12-1 against the spread when they expect to lose.
