Maura reposted the video on her stories, in support of Lucie who claimed she had recently received death threats after her break-up with fellow Love Islander Yewande Biala, 25, turned into a race.
Lucie has been bombarded with online posts accusing her of racism following the discovery of old Instagram comments by social media site Reddit sent shortly after the end of the series in which Lucie and Yewande appeared.
One fan asked Lucie “ what do you think of Yewande saying that you are a horrible person? and she responded by claiming that Yewande, 25, had “ bullied ” her during the 2019 series.

Yewande then responded with her own accusations on Monday, saying Lucie would not even use her name in the villa because it was ‘too difficult to pronounce’.
Speaking to Twitter on Monday, Yewande said, “You refused to call me by my name because it was too ‘hard to pronounce’ now, you mean I bullied you !! Intimidated ‘
Villa islanders Amber Gill and Anna Vakili took Yewande’s defense with Amber calling Lucie’s actions “micro-aggression.”
Now Maura has given Lucie a nod of support, sending her flowers after her friend received death threats from the feud.

She shared the racy snap of her posing in the costume plunging onto the beach with the caption: ‘Always supporting my daughter @maurahiggins #womensupportingwomen’
In an interview after leaving the villa, Lucie opened up about her friendship with Maura, saying that although they didn’t have the best start, they became best friends and supported each other during difficult times.
“It took me a while to trust Maura, but now she is my best friend in the villa,” she said. “She really supported me through everything.

Women Supporting Women: Now Maura has shown her support for Lucie, sending her flowers, after her friend received death threats over the quarrel
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline about the public fallout, Lucie is determined to end the feud and insists her inability to pronounce Yewande’s name in a challenge was an ‘accident’.
Lucie said: ‘I have received death threats which are incredibly frightening as you can imagine.
“ I said on the show I was having a hard time pronouncing Yewande’s name, that’s just who I am.
“ And I asked if I could use an abbreviated shortened version of his name instead as a term of affection – there is nothing sinister about that.
‘I regret how a few old comments sent 18 months ago snowballed like this and got out of hand and resulted in unnecessary negativity.
“Can we all move on please?”
