The former grid girl, 29, and professional dancer, 24, who met in season 5 of Love Island, have called time on their relationship after only eight months of dating.
A source said exclusively to MailOnline: “It will be a difficult time for Maura. She really tried to make things work with Curtis, but unfortunately they separated.

A Maura representative confirmed the news to MailOnline.
Maura explored her stories on Instagram Monday evening to explain that it had been jointly decided to separate.
“Curtis and I have decided to separate. We enjoyed a great experience of our stay in the villa and we would like to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.
Difficult time: A source told MailOnline: “It will be a difficult time for Maura. She really tried to make things work with Curtis, but unfortunately they separated.
Not supposed to be: “Most of her family and close friends are in Ireland, which will make it even harder for her this time,” the source told MailOnline.
“There is no easy way to get through a break and no bad impression on either side. We tried to make it work, but it didn’t have to be, and I wish Curtis only the best for the future, “followed by a broken-hearted emoji”.
The star of Dancing On Ice and the receptionist of Greatest Dancer had not been photographed together since they animated the backstage interviews of the National Television Awards on January 28.
Maura is said to have left the NTA in tears as she engaged in a heated exchange with her then boyfriend.

According to sources, the former ring girl told her friends that she felt “ used ” and “ like a d *** to trust her ”, before leaving the starry bash.
Maura reportedly told her industry buddies about this incident when The Sun claimed to have said: “ He said I only got the NTA concert because of him. It was actually my management that sorted it out.
“He likes to think that he is what people are looking for, not me. It totally ruined my night.
