Tottenham were back in action on Friday afternoon – and in style – beating Motherwell 4-0 in a friendly behind closed doors.
Spurs have six superstars in the World Cup quarter-finals, but that hasn’t stopped them from impressing against their Scottish Premiership opponents.

Kulusevski also scored as Spurs won easily
Even those who were knocked out of the tournament in Qatar weren’t available for Antonio Conte in the clash.
It gave a host of fringe stars the chance to impress, with some seizing the opportunity more firmly than others.
Right-back Matt Doherty – playing on the left – is a man who certainly put on a show by scoring twice.
The Irishman notched his first with a fine finish just inside the box after Swedish sensation Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring, bouncing off a defensive error.
Spain winger Bryan Gil, who featured in Champions League cameos earlier in the campaign, got third.
He fired home after a Kulusevski withdrawal, with Djed Spence brilliant throughout and Harvey White working well in the build-up.

Spence’s performance from right-back will have pleased Conte
And before a series of second-half changes from Spurs, Doherty added a second, nodding just short of Kulusevski’s corner.
Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp and Yves Bissouma were the other starting first-team stars.
Young centre-back Charlie Sayers impressed on the left of a back-three while Brandon Austin started in goal before being replaced by Alfie Whiteman.

Doherty’s second came from a penalty
Spurs return to the Premier League against Brentford in west London on Boxing Day.
But, before this meeting, they will play a friendly match with OGC Nice at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 21.
