MasterChef star Brent Draper reveals why he sensational quit the show
MasterChef star Brent Draper sensational left the show on Sunday night.
And on Monday, the 31-year-old boilermaker revealed why he made the decision to quit the cooking program.
Brent explained in a candid Instagram video that he struggles with his sanity during his show.

“I needed to quit the show and come home and get some help. It all started when my mom got really sick before filming for MasterChef and I just pushed her away, ”he said.
“Then I went straight to quarantine. I also had a few health issues over Christmas but nothing spooky. Then I entered quarantine for the second time after that and struggled.
Brent also said his grandmother died while filming the show and he began to experience “homesickness for a maximum of seven weeks.”
“The physical symptoms started to occur from the stress I was putting on myself and my mind just went offline. I was just thinking the worst of the worst.

Brent then made the decision to quit the show and see a psychologist. He said he now felt “much better”.
During Sunday night’s episode of MasterChef, the Boilermaker burst into tears during an elimination challenge and said he “couldn’t cook” and “had nothing left.”

‘I just need to get home. It’s my sanity, ”said Brent, sitting across from Jock.
Brent spoke of the pressure and stress of the competition: “I can’t seem to get out of my head. It just affects my cook. My sleep, he said.“ I don’t want to but I think it is. the only thing – it’s the right thing, “he added.
Jock himself began to hold back tears as he told Brent that he had truly shown his abilities throughout the culinary challenges.
