THE Masked Singer returned this week with fans guessing that Banana Split was David Foster and Katherine McPhee after seducing the judges and Cupcake getting knocked out.
Banana Split sang “Cry Me A River” by Michael Buble, wowed the judges and left fans to take to social media to reveal their guesses.
“Banana Split is David Foster and Katharine McPhee. Until I change my mind, but that’s what I’m going to do with #TheMaskedSinger,” one Twitter user said.
Another wrote: “We all know that the banana split are none other than Katherine McPhee, And David Foster, They looked amazing together this year #TheMaskedSinger. “
Meanwhile, Caterpillar, a new wild card for this week, has paved the way for Masked Singer.
Cupcake, Banana Split, Mallard and Queen of Hearts, the stars of Group B, also performed but at the end of the episode, Cupcake was sent home and revealed to be Ruth Pointer.
It comes after audiences chanted “Take It Off” at the end of the October 6 episode as Baby unmasked herself, revealing that the celebrity inside was American comedian Daniel Lawrence Whitney, also known as by Larry the Cable Guy.

WHO WAS ELIMINATED FROM THE MASKED SINGER (WEEK 5)
On Wednesday, October 13, Cupcake was eliminated from The Masked Singer.
After her elimination, she turned out to be none other than artist Ruth Pointer.
However, before that, host Nick Cannon announced that Octopus would reveal his identity.
Judge Ken Jeong correctly guessed Octo as Los Angeles Lakers player Dwight Howard.
Then Cannon announced that Mother Nature would be returning home. The character was revealed to be Vivica A. Fox in the shocking premiere double elimination.
WHO WAS ELIMINATED FROM THE MASKED SINGER (WEEK 4)
In week 4, judges and the public unmasked Baby, revealing the celebrity inside was American comedian Daniel Lawrence Whitney, also known as Larry the Cable Guy.
“It was my first time singing in front of someone,” admitted the comedian.
The judges weren’t the only ones who were in awe of Baby’s true identity, as Nick called him one of the “most recognizable voices of this generation.”
WHO WAS ELIMINATED FROM THE MASKED SINGER (WEEK 3)
In week 3, the Dalmatian was sent home and revealed to be rapper Tyga.
Before his elimination, he had performed Beautiful by Snoop Dogg with Pharrell Williams.
Tyga explained to the judges why he decided to make the show after being inspired by fellow rapper Lil Wayne, who appeared in season three, despite being knocked out in the very first episode.

Pufferfish was rejected, who turned out to be none other than RnB superstar Toni Braxton.
She has sold over 70 million records worldwide and is one of the best-selling female RnB artists in history.
WHO WAS ELIMINATED FROM THE MASKED SINGER (WEEK 1)
The two singers with the fewest votes would be sent home.
Once the characters have given their clues and performed, it’s time for the judges, studio audiences, and viewers to vote on their favorite performance.
Bull, Mother Nature, Octopus, Pufferfish, and Skunk joined the scene in a bid to make the judges guess their identities, with two being sent home on the first night.
Mother Nature, Vivica A Fox and Octopus, Dwight Howard, were sent home.
On the night of the premiere, The Masked Singer debuted with four new characters for Group A of the competition.
Once he got a chance to speak at the end of last week’s show, Larry told the judges, “Everyone was so excited to see Bruce Willis, what a disappointment.
“Everyone thought it would be this great action hero. It was my first time singing about someone.”
The panelists weren’t the only people in awe of Baby’s true identity, as Nick called him one of the “most recognizable voices of this generation”.
The judges were equally surprised last week when Larry the Cable Guy was unmasked as a baby.
Before Baby’s identity was revealed, the panelists took turns guessing who the singer in the mask was.
Robin guessed he was Chuck Norris, while Nicole said she thought he was James Corden.
Meanwhile, Ken said it was Gordon Ramsay and Jenny guessed he was Bruce Willis.
After the performer was revealed, Nick pointed out that the judges had guessed he was a contestant over the past seasons by saying, “We’ve said his name so many times and now he’s here in a baby costume. “
When Nick asked if the eliminated candidate wanted to say something, she shouted at her famous sister Anita, “Honey, I love you! I came to do what I needed to get home and support you.
She continued, “Thanks guys for having me! I’m a huge fan of the show, I watch it all the time.
Before the unmasking, the Cupcake hinted at her identity saying she was once “around a lot of other people in her career.”
The allusion implied that she was potentially part of a girl group or that she had acted on a TV show with an ensemble cast.
JUDGES TAKE FINAL GUESSES
Before Cupcake officially left the competition, the judges guessed who was under the mask.
Ken Jeong, 52, said he thought it was Tina Turner under the mask, while Nicole Scherzinger, 43, guessed The Pointer Sisters’ Ruth Pointer.
Meanwhile, Robin Thicke, 44, took Saturday Night Live alum Leslie Jones as his choice and Jenny McCarthy, 48, guessed the performer was Grace Jones.
After the candidate’s identity was revealed, the judges looked visibly shocked as Nick said she “dumped everyone”.
RUTH POINTER REVEALED AS CUPCAKE
The Masked Singer revealed Ruth Pointer as Cupcake on Wednesday’s episode of the show.
The latest revelation stumped all four judges during the shocking elimination.
On Wednesday night’s episode of The Masked Singer, Cupcake took the stage to perform the song Heat Wave by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas.
The contestant took part in the Group B round against the duo Banana Split, Queen Of Hearts, Mallard and the new wildcat Caterpillar.
After the performances, host Nick Cannon, 40, revealed that Cupcake was the last contestant to be sent home.

Queen of Hearts sang “Le vie in rose” and wowed the audience by singing in French, which she confessed to never having done before.
During the judges’ speed dating with Queen of Hearts, the crowd learned that they liked to “read and ride motorcycles”.
Queen of Hearts said she loved the books and Ken Jeong captured her heart because they would both have a “hot” first date.
QUEEN OF HEART CLUES
“I think people are often surprised that I’m shy because I don’t present myself like that on stage,” said Queen of Hearts.
She is looking for a “handsome, airy and intelligent” king of hearts.

Cupcake sang “Finesse” by Bruno Mars before the speed dating.
