Mariah Carey steals her daughter Monroe’s microphone, 11, as she ‘practices some vocals’ on one of the singer’s own hits in new TikTok video
Mariah Carey and her mini-me daughter Monroe sang together in a new TikTok video shared on Saturday.
In the clip, the 53-year-old singer pretended to interrupt her 11-year-old daughter as she “practiced some vocals” on her song “It’s a Wrap” and stole the microphone.
Monroe – who is Moroccan’s twin sister – then rolled her eyes as the songwriter took over and hit all the high notes.
The text on the video read: “POV: every time I try to practice singing”.
The daughter of All I Want For Christmas Is You singer and TV host Nick Cannon wore a pink tie-dye graphic t-shirt with the Sublime band print on the front.

She wore dark gray sweatpants and wore a pair of clear-rimmed glasses.
Monroe had tied her hair in pigtails and wore headphones over her ears in the clip where her lips synced to a microphone.
Then her singing mother stepped in to show her how she sings her song.
In the clip, the Obsessed singer wore a cream tracksuit with stripes and black detailing.
She left the jacket open to show off her black camisole underneath.
On her feet, she wore matching cream fuzzy slippers.
The songwriter tied her hair in a messy bun to show off her gold hoop earrings.
It’s a Wrap was released as part of Carey’s twelfth studio album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel in September 2009.
