down 0.94% to 33,815.90. Marathon Oil Corp. closed $ 2.96 lower than its 52-week high ($ 13.29), which the company hit on March 5.
Despite its losses, the stock outperformed some of its competitors on Thursday, such as Exxon Mobil Corp. XOM,
fell 1.30% to $ 55.27, Chevron Corp. CLC,
fell 1.73% to $ 100.95, and Royal Dutch Shell PLC ADR Cl A RDS.A,
fell 2.25% to $ 37.77. The volume of actual transactions (15.1 million) remained 10.8 million lower than its 50-day average volume of 25.9 million euros.
