Manchester United’s quick turnaround is evident as the club landed two Premier League award nominations in September.
The Red Devils made a dreadful start to life under Erik ten Hag, losing their opening two top-flight games, including a 4-0 hammering away at Brentford.
But since then the Dutchman has inspired a 100% league record, with victories over Liverpool and Arsenal in a four-game winning streak.
Ten Hag rejuvenated a number of failed players, including England duo Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
And the change in fortune at Old Trafford was illustrated as Ten Hag and Rashford earned nominations for this month’s Premier League gongs.
Rashford has three goals and two assists in six league appearances, having struggled desperately during the 2021/22 campaign.
He will face Philip Billing of Bournemouth, Kevin De Bruyne of Man City, Alex Iwobi of Everton, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg of Tottenham and Jacob Ramsey of Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag faces competition from Tottenham boss Antonio Conte and Bournemouth caretaker manager Gary O’Neil.
