Dutch legend Ronald de Boer spoke about Dutch international star Cody Gakpo.
Gakpo, 23, has now scored three goals in three World Cup games, to add to his prolific club form.
The Telegraph have reported how Manchester United reached a deal for Gakpo in the summer, before deciding it was not possible to sign him with Antony.
ESPN Netherlands report that United are still keen to sign Gakpo in January. His performances in the World Cup have shown why the club are interested.

Former Ajax star and Champions League winner Ronald de Boer has explained why he thinks Gakpo is special.
He said sky sports: “Gakpo himself is a young man of great quality. He has speed, which is important these days, and he dribbles.
“But the most important thing is that he has a good shot, he is straight on goal and he finds the net quite easily.
“I think he’s a great person. Very down to earth and I like him as a football player and as a person.
Gakpo scored the first goal for the Netherlands in their win over Qatar on Tuesday, becoming the first player at the 2022 World Cup to score in three consecutive games.
He is also the first Dutch player already to score in his first three World Cup appearances, a remarkable feat considering the legends who have played for the Oranje throughout their history.
The Round of 16 awaits, where Gakpo could add to his admirers, and further drive the home game Manchester United need to sign him.
