A number of Manchester United fans left the Etihad at half-time as their side trailed Manchester City 4-0.

The Red Devils were torn as their rivals went wild, scoring four goals before the break, leaving away fans furious.

Haaland and Foden combined to tear apart the Man United defense

Two goals each from Phil Foden and the unstoppable Erling Haaland saw City enter the break.

But while the Etihad faithful were delighted with the half-time scoreline, the same couldn’t be said for the traveling supporters, with some of them seen leaving the ground just before the whistle.

Foden scored his second in the 44th minute thanks to a delicious cross from co-scorer Haaland.

And the goal was so infuriating to Man United fans that it prompted them to head for the exit.

Shortly after the England international’s goal, footage showed fans leaving their rivals’ pitch with just over a minute of added time on the clock in the first half.

Footage from the far end at the Etihad about a minute later also showed a number of empty spaces, indicating quite a few others had decided they had seen enough.

Man United star and soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo was seen earlier in the half on the bench with his head in his hands, summing up how all Red Devils fans must be feeling after that first half.

Things didn’t improve much in the second half with Haaland and Foden completing their hat tricks, and leading 6-1 at one point.

Antony scored after coming off the bench, before Anthony Martial netted a brace in the second half.

A 6-3 scoreline flattered Erik ten Hag’s side, however, as City could have scored a lot more.
